Windy City Bulls fall to Stockton Kings in Final Game of Winter Showcase
The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Stockton Kings 99-94 Friday night at the Orange County Convention Center. Windy City was led by forward Justin Lewis with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Guard Chris Clemons finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Keifer Sykes chipped in 15 points and 9 assists.
Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo and Lewis each scored 6 points in the first quarter to help Windy City to a 25-23 lead. Stockton took the lead in the second quarter, going up 3 at halftime.
Clemons hit a buzzer-beater at the end of the third quarter to give the Bulls a 5-point lead heading into the final 12 minutes. Windy City cut Stockton’s lead to 1 with a minute left, however, the Kings held on to win by 5.
Stockton was led by forward Mason Jones with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Skal Labissière finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds.
Next up, Windy City will head to Detroit to take on the Motor City Cruise at Wayne State Fieldhouse on Wednesday. The game is slated to tip off at 6 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on ESPN Plus.
