Area moving and hauling service adds new territory

The owners of the Northwest suburban franchise for College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving have announced they have been awarded an additional service area covering Northern Cook County. Owner-operators Erica Fine and Matt Paison began serving Northwest suburbs such as Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Palatine and Mount Prospect in 2022 and were recently awarded the additional area, which serves communities including Park Ridge, Skokie, Niles and much of Northwest Chicago.

“In order to expand into additional service areas, a franchise partner must meet specific financial metrics in their first territory as well as achieve significant customer satisfaction benchmarks,” said Erica Fine. “Earning this additional service area is recognition of the work our entire team has put in since we began serving the Northwest suburbs.”

College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is a licensed hauler and mover with more than 200 locations across the country. In addition to traditional local and long-distance moving services, as a hauler, the company is dedicated to reducing landfill waste by building relationships with local charities and service organizations and moving donated goods from homes and businesses to organizations that can re-purpose them for a greater good.

Fine said her team has built a deep relationship with WINGS, the suburban nonprofit which provides extensive services to survivors of domestic violence.

“We hope to have an announcement soon regarding our work with WINGS. They do tremendous work and there is a great synergy between what we do and the needs they have.”
