Palatine ending drug collection program

Palatine is ending its collection and disposal program for unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications on Dec. 29. No medications will be accepted for collection at village hall after that date.

For alternative disposal resources, residents are advised to visit the Cook County Sheriff’s website and search Prescription Drug Takeback Program. There you will find resources for governmental and private sector participants, including pharmacies, by address and zip code.
