D207 board to name new superintendent
The Maine Township High School District 207 board will name the districts’ next superintendent Wednesday during a special meeting.
The session is set for 8:15 a.m. at the district headquarters, 1177 S. Dee Road, Park Ridge.
Superintendent Ken Wallace announced in June that he is retiring at the end of the current school year.
Wallace has served as superintendent since 2009, longer than anyone else in the Park Ridge-based district's history.
Wallace came to District 207 in 2005 as the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. He served in that role for four years before being named superintendent.
