Palatine organization seeks volunteers to help the homeless

Journeys The Road Home, a Palatine-based nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness, is seeking volunteers for their new housing program, Interim Housing.

Interim Housing is designed to provide a more intensive level of care for clients who require specialized support in their journey toward stable housing. The Interim Housing sites provide clients with a safe place to sleep at night as well as dinner, breakfast, and a sack lunch the next day.

Volunteers work in shifts throughout the night in order to provide a positive experience for those experiencing homelessness.
