Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling to host 'Beer, Charity, and Music' night

On Friday, Dec. 15, Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling in St. Charles will host the first in a series of their "Beer, Charity, and Music" event starting at 7:30 p.m.

The goal of these series of upcoming events is to raise awareness and contributions for local non-profits, with this event collaborating with Project Mobility.

Located in St. Charles, Project Mobility is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide the services, resources, and equipment needed to promote the freedom of mobility through adaptive cycling for children, adults, and wounded soldiers.

During this fundraising event, 10% of proceeds from the sales that evening will go towards Project Mobility.

The event requires a $10 cover charge at the door with $5 going to Project Mobility.

Patrons attending the event will be able to take part in the celebration with raffles, and further opportunities to donate to Project Mobility.

Starting at 8:30 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy live music performed by InFunktious featuring Courtney Stone until 11 p.m.

In addition, Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling will be serving a signature cocktail "Everybody Rides Radler Beer Cocktail" containing Corvair Vodka, Lite Thinking and Lemonade. Proceeds from the signature cocktail sale will go toward Project Mobility, as well.

Ryan Weidner, co-founder, president and CEO of Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling, talks about previous initiatives with non-profit organizations, and about their upcoming "Beer, Charity, and Music" event series.

"Coming off of a successful Charity Bike Ride series over the summer where we, together with Sammy's Bikes, raised over $10,000 for local organizations, we are very excited to launch our Beer, Charity & Music program this winter," Weidner said. "Along with our partners, 'Tunes for a Minute,' we kick off the programing featuring Project Mobility in December and have locked in other great local organizations to feature throughout the coming months. There are so many great organizations in the Fox Valley doing great things for people in need and this is our way, albeit small, to assist in their efforts."
