He had his own float in the Columbus Day Parade in 2021, 2022 and 2023, and has opened for Burton Cummings four times, Tower of Power and KC & the Sunshine Band as a solo artist. He is also a two-time recipient of the Josie Music Awards, held in Nashville, for Musician of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
Psyhogios is also an advocate for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and produces concerts each year that has raised over $110,000 for children's charities. These concerts began in 2015, when Nick's brother-in-law Jim Zito passed away. Zito was 58 years old and Nick's best friend and band mate since the 70s. The Concert for Jimmy Zito was created as a celebration of life and evolved into Rockin' the House for St. Jude, which is produced by Nick and his wife Phyllis each year in memory of Jim and his love for music and for his caring soul.
