Baird & Warner appoints Anthony Mehrabian as new managing broker for Winnetka office

Baird & Warner, Illinois' largest family-owned independent real estate services company, has announced the promotion of Anthony Mehrabian to vice president, designated managing broker at its Winnetka office.

Mehrabian joined Baird & Warner in 2021 as an agent, and, in his new role, will supervise and support 42 broker associates, including two newly recruited agents.

"Anthony's sales record, along with his dedication and consultative approach, make him the natural choice to lead our Winnetka office," said Laura Ellis, chief strategy officer and president of residential sales at Baird & Warner. "As a longtime resident of the North Shore living with his family in Kenilworth, Anthony possesses exceptional market expertise and unparalleled knowledge of the area."

A 24-year industry veteran who previously was affiliated with Coldwell Banker and @properties in Winnetka, Mehrabian has represented sellers and buyers in 40 communities throughout the Chicago area, including Winnetka, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette, Northbrook and Glenview, as well as surrounding North Shore and North/Northwest suburban neighborhoods. Mehrabian doubled his business after joining Baird & Warner as an agent and achieved his two best years in total sales by utilizing his extensive experience in the luxury market. In 2022, Mehrabian earned the Baird & Warner Founder's Club designation, the highest level in the company.

"I came to Baird & Warner because of its unmatched reputation for professionalism, world-class training and industry-leading support services, all of which have allowed me to leverage resources and opportunities to best help my clients and their needs," Mehrabian said.

The company's proprietary Balance program, he noted, played a key role in his success by offering on-demand services that simplify a range of tasks, from managing listings to supporting the entire sales process.

"The support systems offered by Baird & Warner allowed me to be in two places at once, which is crucial in the fast-paced Chicago real estate market," he said.

In his new role as a designated managing broker, Mehrabian will focus on training and support to help individual brokers reach their goals.

"Baird & Warner managers are non-selling, which means leadership is 100% focused on helping agents succeed instead of competing against them for listings," he said. "Baird & Warner has also proved to be a leader in key industry areas, such as providing transparent buyer agency agreements and the Baird & Warner Certified Buyer Specialist training program, which ensure agents have the tools to succeed by communicating the value they bring to consumers."

Mehrabian spends his downtime playing the piano, teaching chess to his son's classmates, and volunteering in social and school organizations in his community.
