Dr. Victoria Ursitti Installed as 2024 Vice President of the Chicago Dental Society

November 29, 2023 (CHICAGO) - A pediatric dentist with more than 25 years of experience, Victoria A. Ursitti, D.M.D., who practices in Arlington Heights, Illinois, was installed as the 2024 vice president of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) on November 12. Dr. Ursitti has previously held numerous leadership positions with CDS, including Treasurer of CDS as well as Director and President of the CDS Northwest Suburban Branch.

As Vice President, Dr. Ursitti will play a significant role in planning and driving attendance for the 159th Midwinter Meeting, which will be held at McCormick Place West in Chicago, February 22 - 24, 2024. The Midwinter Meeting is CDS' annual scientific meeting and one of the dental industry's premier events. The 2024 event will provide attendees with access to more than 230 world-class courses taught by today's leaders in the dental profession, hundreds of live exhibits to test the latest dental innovations, and countless networking opportunities with colleagues and friends.

In addition to her leadership roles with CDS, Dr. Ursitti serves on the Alumni Board of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and currently serves as Vice President of the DENT-IL-PAC for the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists. She is a Director on the Board of the Illinois Dental Lifeline Network - a nonprofit organization providing fragile populations access to dental care. Dr. Ursitti has held multiple positions with the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), including serving as Chair of the Finance and Planning Committee, member and Board Liaison to the Government Affairs Committee, member of the Capital Conference Committee, General Chair of the 151st ISDS Annual Session, and on the Board of Trustees, and she has served many years as a House Delegate for both the American Dental Association (ADA) and ISDS. She is an active member and has also served as President of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society, the philanthropic organization for Italian-American dentists of the Chicagoland area. Dr. Ursitti is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists, a Pierre Fauchard Academy candidate, and holds memberships with the ADA, ISDS, the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Ursitti holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition/clinical biology from Cornell University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, along with a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She lives in Barrington Hills, Illinois, with her husband, Patrick. She has a son, Gianni, who is a college sophomore at the University of Alabama, and two adorable miniature Goldendoodles, Burton and Vanna. Dr. Ursitti is the owner of All About Kids Dentistry in Arlington Heights, Illinois and Algonquin Kids Dentistry in Algonquin, Illinois. She is actively involved in volunteer work, sponsoring many dental health fairs and events around the northwest suburban community. She also volunteers time with the CDS Foundation, Illinois Dentists Salute to Veterans, Illinois Mission of Mercy, and in years past, St. James Parish. She is an avid downhill skier and loves spending time with her family, playing golf, traveling, and attending sporting events and concerts.

Established in 1864, CDS is the largest local component of the American Dental Association, with more than 4,000 members in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.
