Glen Ellyn District 89 superintendent wants to hear from residents

Glen Ellyn Elementary District 89 Superintendent Doug Eccarius will hold a pair of community listening sessions on Thursday, Dec. 7.

The superintendent's "Talking 89" meetings are open to anyone who wants to learn more about the district. The sessions are scheduled to run from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the first floor of the district's offices, 22W600 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.

Eccarius is expected to ask for public feedback about where the district is meeting or exceeding expectations and where there are areas for growth.

The school board selected Eccarius as the district's top administrator in April. He previously served as a deputy superintendent in Indian Prairie Unit District 204.
