No one injured in Libertyville house fire
Libertyville firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire early Friday morning on the southwest side of the village.
While no one was injured during the blaze, officials said, the residents were displaced because of the fire and smoke damage their home received.
Fire crews responded to the call just after 6 a.m. When they arrived at the home on the 1100 block of Fairlawn Avenue, they found flames had spread up the back of the house to the attic, officials said.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control in less than 20 minutes, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials said.
