Wadsworth Village President dies at 71

Wadsworth Village President Glenn Ryback died Sunday at 71, village officials said.

Ryback served the village for 30 years starting in 1993 when he was appointed to the village board. He became village president in 2007 and was the longest serving village president in Wadsworth's history, according to village officials.

"We will all miss the dedicated leadership provided by Village President Ryback and we will continue his honorable work in serving the residents of the community that he loved so much," read a message of the village website.

Ryback owned and operated his own real estate business since 1988, according to an obituary.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on November 26 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 15000 Wadsworth Road in Wadsworth.
