Gingerbread House Competition at Buffalo Creek Brewing Dec. 7 and 14

Leaning even further into the Gingerbread House holiday taproom theme, Buffalo Creek Brewing will host its first Gingerbread House Competition on Dec. 7 and 14, in coordination with Ma & Pa's Candy in Long Grove.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m., when each team is provided a gingerbread house kit and a sack of candy from Ma & Pa's Candy using the rules of White Elephant where swapping and stealing is accepted.

Teams have until 8:30 p.m., to complete their themed gingerbread houses before being judged by Ma & Pa's and the owner of BCB.

In honor of the occasion, Mike will be releasing his original Gingerbread Scotch Ale on Dec. 7, in tandem with this event.

Interested teams must register on Buffalo Creek's website store at www.buffalocreekbrewing.com. Limited to 12 teams per evening.
