Christmas scene to come alive Dec. 23 at Elgin's Holy Trinity Lutheran

This year, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin will offer a Living Nativity display.

Church members will take turns as actors. Walking visitors can view or walk through the scene, which will depict the birth of Jesus Christ.

The live performance will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at the church, 357 Division St. in downtown Elgin.

Stop by or drive by to view the event.

All are welcome to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate in the church after the event. The church's regular Saturday service starts at 5 p.m.
