Cubs should pay up

It's time for Cub fans to rise up and demand that the Cub organization pay for the talented players it takes to consistently make the playoffs. Congratulations to Craig Counsell as the Cubs new manager. He's a good baseball man but he can't hit .290 or win 18 games as a Cub pitcher.

Fan passion for winning makes a difference. It puts pressure on team management and while it's no guarantee of success, it helps.
