Good sports choices

Just a quick note as a longtime Daily Herald subscriber and former Daily Herald coverage area athlete, high school coach and athletic parent to say how pleased I was to see that the Daily Herald has named Orrin Schwarz as it's new High School Sports Editor, Kevin Schmit as his Assistant Sports Editor and David Oberhelman as one of their lead writers. Bob Frisk's shoes can never be filled - but there are no better individuals to continue the great tradition of covering high school athletics at an elite level than those three guys and the Daily Herald Sports Department staff. This is great news for the athletes, coaches and schools of the vast Daily Herald coverage area. Well done.
