Palatine rail crossing closing next week for repairs

The Union Pacific Railroad plans to close the rail crossing at Hicks Road in Palatine beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13 through approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The closure is needed to perform repairs, according to the village.

A detour route will be posted to direct traffic to use Northwest Highway, Rohlwing Road and Industrial Avenue.
