DuPage County awards grants to small non-profits

DuPage County Board members will recognize recipients of the county's small nonprofit grant program before their Nov. 14 meeting.

The small nonprofit grant program provided awards of up to $25,000 for 37 county agencies that provide services such as job readiness and literacy, education, mentoring, housing, behavioral health services, food assistance and substance abuse treatment. Grant awardees will be recognized at a meet-and-greet reception at 9:30 a.m. before the Nov. 14 county board meeting.
