Itasca violinist to perform at free concert Nov. 12

Itasca resident Cara Schlecker will be one-half of the upcoming Classical Music Concert on Sunday, Nov. 12.

Schlecker, a violinist, and Paul Dykstra, a pianist, will be performing a program of beautifully virtuosic music of some of the greatest composers of all time, with a little "Fun" thrown in.

The Chamber Ensemble is being presented as part of the "Second Sundays" program of Concordia Church, a free, monthly recital series occurring on the second Sunday of each month at noon. The concert takes place on Sunday, Nov. 12 at noon at Concordia Church: 3855 N. Seeley Ave., Chicago. Tickets are not required.
