Fort Hill Fitness to host Friday Night Dance Party Nov. 17

The Friday Night Dance Party returns to Fort Hill Activity Center on Friday, Nov. 17. It is open to anyone age 15 and up.

Fort Hill Fitness instructors will lead the dance styles, including Body Jam, Zumba and Zumba Gold.

No experience is needed; participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes and be ready to have fun as they learn new dance moves, get a great workout and meet lots of friendly people.

The dance party will be held in the gymnasiums at Naperville Park District's Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive, from 7 to 9 p.m. followed by light refreshments from 9 to 9:30 p.m.

"Our talented instructors will keep the energy going all evening," said Wellness Manager Kim Monti. "We designed this event for those who enjoy dancing in a fun, party atmosphere."

According to Monti, dancing provides many health benefits, such as increasing strength, flexibility, and balance, boosting memory and confidence and reducing stress.

Online registration information is available at www.napervilleparks.org.

The per-person fee is $15 for Naperville residents and $20 for nonresidents, with discounts available for seniors and Fort Hill Fitness members.
