Senior resource fair Friday in Elk Grove Village

State Sen. Laura Murphy and state Rep. Michelle Mussman will co-host a senior fair Friday at the Elk Grove Township building, 600 Landmeier Road, in Elk Grove Village.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature tables and presentations from state and local agencies providing services in the area, including Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison's office, ComEd, PACE, Regional Transit Authority, Citizens Utility Board, Center of Concern and more.

"Ensuring that our seniors have access to vital health care resources and social services is extraordinarily important as they strive to live their lives with dignity," Murphy, a Democrat from Des Plaines, said in an announcement. "This event will provide access to important services that will aid the seniors in our community."
