Naperville church to host University of Notre Dame choir Oct. 7

As part of its 25th Jubilee anniversary, Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Naperville invites the community to a concert by the University of Notre Dame Folk Choir on Saturday, Oct. 7.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the church, 2023 Hassert Blvd. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.

The Notre Dame Folk Choir bridges the gap between contemporary compositions and the rich expression of traditional choral repertoire. Learn more about the choir at folkchoir.nd.edu.

Holy Spirit Catholic Church was founded in 1998 in the Joliet Diocese under Bishop Joseph Imesch with the church building dedicated October 2003 with founding pastor Father Richard Bennett. Father John Sponder joined the church in 2020.

The church hosts a Vigil Mass at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday Masses at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. Weekday Mass is at 9 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. For information, visit www.hscc.us.
