103 years of life
World War II veteran Elvis Summers is surprisingly healthy for his age. The 103-year-old loves to watch the Chicago Cubs. In 2021, the Chicago Cubs and USO Illinois honored 100-year-old at a game.
He also loves to watch old Westerns on television with his dog Missy.
He has a lot of great memories of being a supply truck driver in the United States Army during the war.
His children and grandchildren have all grown up now.
Elvis was able to participate in an Honor Flight a few years ago and he greatly appreciated the opportunity.
He is very special to everyone and is a valuable member of our neighborhood.
