Superintendent search open Feedback Forums
As part of the search process for a new superintendent in Maine Township High School District 207, the board of education is seeking stakeholder feedback to inform the process to find a new superintendent. Therefore, it has set up opportunities for stakeholders to provide their input into the type of leader the board hires for the superintendent position.
The stakeholder feedback process will provide insight on the district's strengths, challenges and goals, as well as determine the attributes necessary for a new superintendent to possess in order to be successful in our district.
Students, parents and community members are invited to participate in an open forum to share opinions and thoughts.
There are three sessions that any student, parent and/or community member are welcome to attend:
• Maine South: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in the library.
• Maine East: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the cafeteria.
• Maine West: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the lower commons.
Superintendent Dr. Ken Wallace will retire at the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year and a comprehensive search for the next superintendent is underway.
The board of education recognizes that the selection of a superintendent of schools is its most important responsibility to the students, staff, families and other stakeholders of the school district community. The board of education is committed to a search process that is transparent and collaborative with input from all school district stakeholders.
