The Elgin Area Chamber welcomed A-TEC Ambulance with a ribbon cutting featuring owners David and Jean Davis and Elgin Mayor David Kaptain. The company relocated and expanded their new corporate office into Elgin in a new, state-of-the-art facility located at 2125 Point Blvd. A private Chicagoland ambulance company, they service 10 major hospitals and over 100 nursing homes.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting, at their office, for local home-based business Guardian Radon Mitigation & Electrical Services on Aug. 22. Owner Michael Christerson along with Marketing and Public Relations Manager Michele Morgan cut the ribbon surrounded by friends, chamber ambassadors and staff. The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new location and business expansion for Fully Promoted of St. Charles with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 18. The Batavia Chamber was joined by the St. Charles and Geneva Chambers of Commerce at 3714 Illinois Avenue in St. Charles. The celebration was presided over by St. Charles Mayor Lora Vitek, along with the owner, Michelle Bottino, her family and staff. Among the well-wishers were staff members of the three chambers, chamber ambassadors, fellow business owners and friends.
Two-time WNBA champion, five-time All-Star, and Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd and her brother, European Professional Basketball Player Jarryd Loyd, welcomed the public from Chicago's North Shore communities to sip some of the flavorful offerings during the grand reopening of Smoothie King Skokie July 22 at 3612 W. Touhy Ave. in Skokie.
