AVS becomes distributor of cashless payment systems

ELK GROVE VILLAGE - AVS Cos. said it is now an official distributor of Cantaloupe cashless payment equipment and parts.

Based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Cantaloupe provides hardware and software for cashless payment devices and kiosks. Elk Grove Village-based AVS was founded in 1971 and is a distributor of amusement, gaming and vending equipment.

AVS said it is working with Cantaloupe to offer customers new ways to accept cashless payments while providing those businesses with data-driven insights.

"We are honored to have been selected as Cantaloupe's Master Distributor for North America," Tom Vogt, AVS' vice president of vending, said in a news release. "Both AVS and Cantaloupe share a joint vision to provide excellent products and services to our customers. This agreement will ensure immediate product availability."
