'Save It Forward' by shopping local in downtown Palatine

Support Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) member businesses during the organization's yearly "Save it Forward" campaign, which runs the entire month of September. Customers can present a purchase receipt from a participating business at any other participating businesses and receive a special offer or discount on purchases made between Sept.1-30, 2023. Each receipt can be used once and must be redeemed by Sept. 30.

"Shopping local creates a stronger sense of community, it strengthens our small businesses, and adds to the vibrancy of Palatine's downtown," said DPBA President Jason Goike, and the owner/co-founder of The Craft Collective at 19 N. Brockway St. "I invite area residents to explore the shops and take advantage of all the Save it Forward benefits."

Participating businesses and their special offers include:

A Closer Bond: 10% off one class and/or service.

American Legion: 10% off any receipt.

Anne's Unique Boutique: 20% off selected items.

Brush Salon: 20% off one service or 20% off a product.

Cook, Cork & Fork: 10% off your purchase - *excludes classes and gift cards.

Craft Collective: $5 off purchases of $25 or more.

Durty Nellie's: 10% off the entire bill with food purchase.

Foxglove Cottage: 10% off non-consignment or sale items.

The Music Room: 10% off merchandise or a first lesson when you sign up for one month of (weekly) music lessons.

Shoppe the Mill: 15% off your entire purchase.

Sweet C's: 10% off purchases - *excludes decorated cookies and custom orders.

Nearly half the dollars spent when shopping locally are returned to the community. This is a direct result of products and services being sourced locally, employing local residents, and contributing to local sales taxes.
