Where can we find Republicans of courage?

As we approach the inevitable insurrection trial of Donald Trump, numerous comparisons will be drawn between Mr. Trump and former President Richard Nixon. I feel a more critical comparison could be made between the 1970s Republican Party and current Republican Party.

Where will we find men and women from that party with the character and moral center of Republicans like Howard Baker and Elliot Richardson.

My fear is that we won't.
