Voters must live with it

A new poll tells us that 70% of voters in Illinois are opposed to J.B. Pritzker and his automatic fuel tax increases. Really, no kidding. Of course 70% are opposed. However all the Illinois sheep who voted for the uber-wealthy Pritzker suddenly didn't realize that when the governor says he is going to raise taxes, he means it. You voted for him folks, what did you expect? The gasoline tax is very punitive to families just trying to get by.

Whatever you think you believe, Mr. Pritzker can afford any and all tax increases. When you have billions in the bank, what difference does a 5 cents or 10 cents per gallon increase mean? This issue is not an issue, just as long as Illinois continues to rack in big bucks. Well, you elected him, now live with it.
