The joy of reading

Loved the cartoon Saturday, July 22, of a fellow reading on his couch. All these weeks seeing news articles regarding the screen writers and actors strike, with no talks in sight, I kept thinking how lucky I am to have The Daily Herald and a Chicago newspaper in front of my door every single morning. I can wait until later in the day and evening to read my newspapers. I won't miss anything on TV. Instead I look forward to the newspapers as my entertainment until the 10 p.m. news on my usual channel. Also am very appreciative of the people who deliver the papers early every day, rain or shine.
