Free movie nights return in downtown Aurora

Aurora Downtown is hosting two free movie nights this summer at Mundy Park.

Movie Nights at Mundy Park will screen "Men In Black" at dusk Thursday, July 27.

The "brew and view" movie nights are held in collaboration with The Venue and Aurora Film Society. It is sponsored by Waubonsee Community College.

Seating opens to the public at 7 p.m. Movie-goers should bring their own chairs.

Tamales+ will be the visiting food vendor. Concessions will be available. The Venue will have a cash bar; no outside alcohol will be allowed.

Mundy Park is located adjacent to The Venue, 21 S. Broadway, Aurora. Free parking is available in the lot across from City Hall at Downer Place and Water Street.

Movie Nights at Mundy Park will be held rain or shine, however severe weather will cancel the outdoor event.

"Almost Famous" will be shown on Aug. 24.
