Three weeks of rail crossing closures ahead in Lake Zurich

The CN railroad will be closing three rail crossings in Lake Zurich for repairs over three consecutive weeks beginning July 31.

The closures will occur at South Old Rand Rd from July 31 to Aug. 4; East Main Street from Aug. 7 to Aug. 11; and Oakwood Road from Aug. 14 to Aug. 18.

These will be full closures with detour signs posted.

As a result of the closures, the village will be suspending planned intermittent road closures of West Main Street until the work at South Old Rand and East Main Street is complete.
