National Night Out events planned in Naperville

The Naperville Police Department and city officials are planning National Night Out community events for July 31 and Aug. 1.

In addition to gatherings in more than 45 neighborhoods throughout Naperville, a celebration at the Fry Family YMCA, 2120 95th St., will feature games, giveaways and activities for all ages. The event begins at 6 p.m. and will feature food trucks and an outdoor movie showing.

City employees, including police officers and firefighters, will attend the neighborhood events between 5 and 8 p.m. Aug. 1. A list of participating neighborhoods is available at naperville.il.us/nno.

The National Night Out events also will include a donation drive for Loaves & Fishes.
