On June 16, Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce members and family and friends of the Stewarts celebrated four years in business. Susan and Cameron Stewart started their business in June 2020. Because of the pandemic at the time, they were not able to host a ribbon cutting celebration and since then they have been so busy growing their business. They do not have a store front, but they sell their cakes at the local Woodman's, and local markets and fests and people can order on-line for delivery or pick up.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting, on June 30 for Fox Den Cooking Classes, 131 S. 1st St., St. Charles. Owner and Chef Jess Evans cut the ribbon held by her husband, Randy Evans, and Ashley Keller, owner of Weathered Ways Farm, surrounded by associates, family, friends, Geneva Chamber board members, ambassadors, staff and St. Charles Business Alliance for attending. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on July 7 for The Exchange of Geneva, 219 W. State St., Geneva. Owner Jen Apulello cut the ribbon held by her children, Leo and Makayla, surrounded by associates, family, friends, Geneva Chamber board members, ambassadors and staff. The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce awarded scholarships to local students. Through the generosity of chamber members and a few fundraisers, 10 students received $1,000 and one alumnus received $1,500 scholarship money to use towards their secondary education. On June 29th a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Casa Di Luigi restaurant, which used to be Grande Jake's. It is located at 5500 New Wilke Road in Rolling Meadows.
