Misguided columnists
I just love seeing liberal heads explode over the Supreme Court doing its job to support the Constitution.
Daily Herald columnists Jeff Robbins and Keith Raffel were both whining over rulings that didn't go as they wanted. In particular, Raffel is sure that this court's rulings will cause a rise in American deaths, and he wants the court to be held liable. He spouts some made-up projections that predict an increase in deaths due to flooding, air pollution and the reversal of Roe v. Wade to support his argument. Really? And what about the babies that won't be aborted? Don't forget to factor that into the "statistics."
Robbins is particularly troubled by the reversal of affirmative action in higher education. How can he not view admissions based on race as racist? Where is his concern for those hard-working, well-qualified students who are not considered for admission because their skin is the wrong color? His arguments make no sense.
Daily Herald, surely you can find better op-ed columnists than these two.
