Court rulings are assault on democracy

We've always been taught that our government structure is built around the concepts of separation of powers and checks and balances. No one branch can have unlimited power or abuse its power. How does that apply to the Supreme Court?

Who is the authority when the Supreme Court acts in a questionable way constitutionally or, even more dangerously, is overly partisan? It is Congress. A branch of government that is partisan by design making oversight an empty promise. The Supreme Court's unchecked assault on people's rights, the reinstatement of political ideology and religion-based behaviors that long ago were determined to be unconstitutional and deciding what are clearly legislative issues needs to be seen for what it is. This is an assault on our democracy that makes the Jan. 6 insurrection pale in comparison.
