Joey's Angels is seeking donations for its 22nd annual golf fundraiser
Joey's Angels Chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation, is looking for sponsors and contributors for its 22nd annual golf fundraiser, "Angels in the Fairway," to help find a cure for leukemia.
The outing will be held on Friday, July 21, at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Twenty-six years ago, Larry and Patty Mix began their fight against the disease that took their 3-year-old son, Joey. A diagnosis of leukemia occurs every four minutes, and every 10 minutes someone loses their battle.
The goal of Joey's Angels is to help patients and their families who are currently facing this blood cancer diagnosis and provide funding for worldwide research that will lead to eradicating leukemia for good.
You can join the fight by donating an item or gift certificate for the auction and raffle tables for the 22nd "Angels in the Fairway" Golf Outing. This event is historically attended by more than 400 golfers and 600 dinner guests, and includes live and silent auctions, and raffles. Your generosity will directly benefit those fighting leukemia. To date, Joey's Angels has raised over $2.8 million in net revenue for The Leukemia Research Foundation.
The following donations are being sought: Raffle and auction items: Services; gift certificates; merchandise; and sports memorabilia. Please send donations to: Joey's Angels, 570 Checker Drive, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
