GOP is boat in water without oars

It is my view that the current state of affairs of the GOP is in complete disarray. They have completely turned their backs to the party's core competencies of smaller government, less taxes and law and order.

Since piggybacking on the now apparent national cancers left over from DJT, a complete overhaul was needed months ago. No guts no strengths, no nothing.

Having forsaken their need for new vocal members, new strategies, so-called Young Republicans as leaders, the die is cast with the same old set of planks off of a threadbare platform. This, from a current set of candidates who are retreading stump speeches implies much but says nothing. No teeth, no guts.

The yearning for yesteryear (sorry pals, it's gone), immigration woes without a plan (the wall was and is a hysterical joke), make the country like Florida (please, don't insult me), a once firm stance on law and order has softened to that of a marshmallow while their current frontrunner makes a daily mockery of same and on and on.

Nothing new, nothing captivating, nothing of excitement. What's their future? Who knows, but the analogy of a "boat in the water without oars" seems crystal clear.
