Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force to host community forum
Do you care about the climate and the environment, but aren't sure how to get involved to create change? Do you have ideas on how to make Naperville more sustainable?
Do you want to meet people who can help you or your organization save money by adding energy efficiency and renewable energy?
Join the Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force for a community feedback session on sustainability, climate change, and building resiliency. Bring your ideas and questions on Monday, July 17.
It will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Meeting Room B in the lower level of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.
NEST is working to build a sustainable Naperville for all and is looking for community feedback to create a shared vision around initiatives that are good for Naperville residents and the planet. All are invited to learn more about NEST and to share your thoughts on the sustainable future built together.
Sustainability means leaving for future generations the same opportunities and resources we enjoy today. Whether folks come as individuals or as representatives of their business, faith organization, or nonprofit, everyone can have a voice in creating a better Naperville.
Attending will also be a great way for newcomers to learn about NEST and to network with folks who can help them on our own sustainability journey.
All are welcome and encouraged to invite friends, neighbors, and colleagues to this event.
If you have any questions, contact info@sustainnaperville.org or visit the website at www.sustainnaperville.org/engage/events.
