City's green hypocrisy with NASCAR race

I hear that the 38 cars racing in the NASCAR Cup street race in Chicago this weekend burn such clean fuel that Chicago's air quality will actually improve to such an extent that Greta Thunberg herself will waive the checkered flag.

Come on Chicago. I mean, if the city is really interested in a Green Initiative, is street car racing the answer? What hypocrisy.
