The Village of Lombard Announces Warhol-Inspired Canned Food Drive to Support the Outreach House

The Village of Lombard, in collaboration with the Lombard Park District, Helen Plum Library and Lombard Historical Society, is pleased to announce a canned food drive with a Warhol-inspired twist to benefit the Outreach House Food Pantry in Lombard. This initiative aims to raise awareness and support for individuals and families facing food insecurity within our community.

Taking inspiration from the iconic artwork of Andy Warhol, the Village of Lombard has introduced specially designed collection cans featuring a Lombard Campbell Soup label. These eye-catching cans will be available at multiple locations across Lombard through September 1, 2023, offering residents and visitors a convenient way to contribute to this cause.

Participating locations include:

• Lombard Village Hall - 255 E Wilson Ave

• Fire Station 45 - 50 E St. Charles Rd

• Lombard Historical Society - 23 W Maple St

• Madison Meadows Recreation Center - 500 E Wilson Ave

• Helen Plum Library - 411 S Main St

To view a comprehensive list of the most needed donation items, please visit the Outreach House webpage at www.theoutreachhouse.org/needed-most/#food-pantry-needs.

Everyone is invited to participate and create a wave of generosity, one can at a time. In conjunction with the Andy Warhol exhibition at the College of DuPage, Lombard will be hosting Warhol-themed special events, public art, and giveaways throughout the Village.
