Living in an area with one of the schlt biggest populations of people with developmental disabilities in the state, there is one big thing that parents of adults and children with developmental disabilities don't see. Gov. Pritzker talking and meeting with parents and non profit organizations in the area, on how to solve a minor issue of how to properly staff adult day programs and group homes, to assist with the care and safety of adults in day programs and group homes to live their lives in communities safely. It has only been a nationwide crisis for years and two laws have been passed to help solve the problem in the past year

When will this become important for his office to finally engage on the issue known as the DSP worker shortage?
