Wolf Road closed near railroad tracks in Prospect Heights

Wolf Road is fully closed to through traffic at the railroad tracks south of Camp McDonald Road in Prospect Heights until Saturday, July 22.

The closure is needed as the Illinois Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Central Limited, is repairing the deteriorated railroad crossing.

If you are headed southbound on Wolf, you can detour by turning east on Camp McDonald Road, going south on River Road, heading west on Euclid Avenue and back to Wolf Road.

Northbound drivers can turn east on Euclid, go north on River Road and west on Camp McDonald and back to Wolf Road.
