Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters to play in Libertyville
Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters will perform live in concert Tuesday, July 11, at the Impact Fuel Room, 481 Peterson Road in Libertyville.
Formed in 2007, The Boxmasters have recorded an impressive and diverse catalog of music that touches on their love of a wide array of influences, but most importantly, the rock 'n' roll of the 1960s.
Listening to The Boxmasters, one can hear obvious odes to the Beatles, Byrds and Beach Boys, but also important to The Boxmasters are The Mothers of Invention, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Big Star.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m.
