Letter: Stop hiding from the truth

It was quite a disappointment to see that the first Fencepost letter published after Donald Trump was indicted was from a Trump supporter who is woefully ignorant of the facts and the law. Sorry to disappoint you, but these are not "phony charges." Read the indictment for yourself. Trump had no right to keep the documents after he left office. The Presidential Records Act, that he wrongly claims justifies his actions, says exactly the opposite (no surprise there). The act says, in plain English, all documents must be returned by the president before he leaves office.

Trump supporters need to man up, and stop hiding from the truth.
