Letter: Columnist wrong about transgender care

You really need to do a much better job checking your guest editorialists. If you had checked on Roy Eappen, you would have found that he is a longtime conservative politician. Contrary to the claim in his June 16 guest column, Norway has in fact not, let's repeat that, not, banned gender affirming transitional care for minors. Your columnist is either ignorant, or, most likely, simply lying. Columnists are entitled to their opinions. They are not entitled to lie about the positions of other countries' medical associations.
