Fox Valley Park District invites the community to visit The Wilds at Red Oak, its new modern programming and event space nestled on the east bank of the Fox River in North Aurora.

Stop by the open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at The Wilds, 1400 N. River Road.

Tucked in an intimate setting with sights and sounds provided by nature, The Wilds is an ideal spot to tie the knot, host your next family reunion, or recognize co-workers with a company celebration.

Stop by to tour the facility, meet with venue staff, and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding 40 acres of woods, vibrant ecosystem, and scenic Fox River.

Light refreshments will be served.

This nature-lovers observatory - fitted with overhead windows and sections of transparent walls - dutifully supports The Wilds' theme: let the outdoors in. The simple, sleek décor provides panoramic views of the surrounding 40 acres of woods, the Fox River, and its vibrant ecosystem. A large patio and double-sided fireplace allow guests to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. It features 3,100 square foot space and seats up to 150-160 guests.
