Letter: Indictments intended to influence 2024 election

The DOJ and FBI have been weaponized to target political opponents in order to influence an upcoming election. Reference the Daily Herald's front page Washington Post article on Friday, June 9; "Federal indictment for Trump," and buried in a one-paragraph blurb at the bottom of Page 2; "Wray contempt hearing off."

Why is this important? Because on the day the FBI is forced to allow The House Oversight Committee to see a whistleblower report detailing the Biden family's corruption, the DOJ indicts the former president on phony charges in order to divert attention from the real criminal story. That's no coincidence.

Regarding classified documents, Obama stored cartons of them in an unsecured U-Stor-It warehouse, Hilary stored them on an unsecured email server, Biden stored them from his time as VP in the Penn-Biden center and in his garage, Pence stored them from his time as VP at his home. Where are the heavy-handed FBI raids and indictments of Hilary, Biden and Pence? Where is the DOJ justice?

Only presidents can declassify and store documents from their time in office; all others must be thoroughly investigated.

Regarding the FBI's whistleblower report, it claims that bribery payments of $5 million were made to both Hunter and Joe for political favors to Ukrainian oligarchs (yes, where we are currently engaged in a proxy war with Russia). The House Oversight Committee has uncovered bank records that support those claims. On top of that, there are more reports that the FBI only just admitted to. We the people can't wait to see what's in those reports and that should be the front page news.
