Ela Township Republicans help clean up Deer Park

The Ela Township Republicans group had their initial Adopt-A-Highway roadside cleanup in May.

Their section of road goes from Deerpath Road to U.S. 12. The weather started out with a light rain, but then cleared up so that they could complete their cleanup and pick up three large bags of garbage. The next cleanup will be sometime this fall.

They were welcomed by the Deer Park Village President Greg Rusteberg, who thanked them for their efforts to keep the community clean.
