GreenState Foundation awarded local nonprofit, Re:new Project, with a $10,000 check on May 18. This grant will be used to expand programming for refugee women resettled in the Chicago area. Tara Wachendorf and Jill Baker, GreenState Foundation President and Board Member respectively, presented the check to Lora Kim Kwan, Executive Director of Re:new Project. Also in attendance were Mandy Lesko, GreenState Credit Union Public Relations Specialist, and Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Evelyn Rodriguez and Cheryl Shurtz.
